Au Naturelle March 13, 2011

Welcome!

Is everyone getting the Spring Fever thing? I know I am. The days are getting longer and the temps are getting warmer. I`m just itching to get out in my herb garden, but of course I`ve got a wait ahead of me. The ground is still very frozen and most of my herb garden is still covered with snow. So while I wait, I continue to do more research on different herbs, essential oils and always looking for a good all natural recipe for soap, facial care, etc.
Every once in a while I pull out the paper crafting supplies too.
I`ve shown a few of my newer listings in my shop! As you can see I stay very busy.
If you`d like to visit the shop simply use the link provided;

I was recently featured on a fellow Etsy members` blog, most people don`t know that I have two other shops on Etsy. One is Scorpion Moon Designs, where I sell my jewelry and the other is called Vanilla Creme, where I sell mostly vintage white and cream colored items. Both of the links are  provided here;

My fellow etsians` blog is http://basketsbyrosebasketsbyrose.blogspot.com/
I was very honored to be featured on her blog and thank her very much!
Also if you`re looking for wonderfully handcrafted baskets her shop is where to go. I haven`t been able to purchase any yet, but when I can I have a few favorites already chosen.
If you`d like to see her wonderful shop,  click on this link;http://www.etsy.com/shop/basketsbyrose
I`ve also featured some of  my favorites from her shop here. Please be sure and check her out!

Also if you love vintage you need to check out these two wonderful shops I`ve found and bought items from. Hard to resist, but I have to try too. If you ever saw the collections I own you would know why. But every once in a while I find something I just can`t resist. Please check out these two wonderful shops!  Faded Plains and Frog Goes To Market, both have great vintage finds!  Faded Plains  FrogGoesToMarket

In the coming weeks I will be featuring some recipes for homemade household cleaning, please try them if you`d like, they are much better to use then the chemically laden products you can purchase in the store. And the majority of them are easy to mix and  all are safe. (Always test first of course)

The first recipe is an All Purpose Bleach Cleaner
All-Purpose Bleach Cleaner

2 tablespoons liquid chlorine bleach
1 quart cold water

Mix in a bucket. Moisten a sponge with the solution and wipe on surface to be cleaned. Let stand for 2 minutes, then rinse well. USE ONLY ON COLORFAST ITEMS.

This recipe can also be made in a new clean unused spray bottle which is the way I make it. Great to use in the bathroom.

Well as always keep it clean!
