What else does Spring bring to mind. Well to me all that fresh air brings me seasonal allergies. But I don`t want to miss all the fun of the outdoors so along with the allergy medication, I found this great recipe for a head clearing steam inhalate. All you need is a few essential oils on hand. I will be offering this blend in my Etsy shop in the next few days, along with four other blends for various uses.

Head Clearing Steam
1 drop Eucalyptus essential oil
1 drop Peppermint essential oil
1 drop Tea Tree essential oil
Add the oils to a bowl of vey hot, steamy water. Put a towel over your head and inhale the vapours from the bowl for at least 5 minutes. Keep your eyes closed or they may sting.

This blend will really clear a stuffy head nicely.

I also have a Spring cleaning recipe today. Its for those carpets you have that have been holding on to all those winter odors, especially if you have pets. Very simple to put together and it really does the trick.

Aromatic Carpet Cleaner

2 cups baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
4 to 5 bay leaves
1 tablespoon cloves

Mix all ingredients together and keep in a closed container. Sprinkle on carpet and let sit for a short period of time. Vacuum carpet in usual manner.

So thats about it for today. Happy Spring!
And be sure to watch my shop for those oil blends.
As Always
Keep It Clean!
