Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

I`ve never been a perfect person, but I would have to honestly say that I`ve always tried to keep these words close by throughout my life in whatever I do.
Its really a shame that some people have used the internet as a personal soap opera site for attention getting.
Perhaps they lack the necessary attention from someone close to them that they definitely deserve, but don`t get.
Or perhaps they are just greedy and want more attention then they truly deserve.

Just venting!!! Normally I don`t share personal stuff

on my blog, but this only applies to one person who

I`ve dealt with on a certain issue, you know who you

are, if you even read my blog,(not sure you`re a follower)

otherwise you won`t even see this, but at least my conscience is

 clear.

I forgive you but I`ll never forget.

You know who you are

and you have to live with yourself.

Moving on to the more interesting things now.
Can you believe snow this morning when you woke up?
I know I couldn`t.
Here are some pictures to make you believe it is for real...

Hello Mother Nature!
Its October!
My grandmother used to say that the date of the first snowfall meant how many snow storms we would have.
Lets keep track and see if she is right this year, shall we?
Have a good night!

New Listings At Au Naturelle And Scorpion Moon Designs

We`re getting to that very busy time of year. Any one who shops for the Holidays knows how busy is busy. And any one who has a shop online is even busier. Trying to balance everything is a real trick in itself.
If you have an online shop, work outside and inside the home, you know what I`m talking about. But all in all it is very rewarding. Especially when someone buys one of your products and tells you how much they love it!

I`ve got new gift bags at Au Naturelle for the Christmas season. These cute bags are cotton muslin with a drawstring closure. They will hold just about any small to medium size gift. The bags are gussetted at the bottom to stand when filled with whatever goodies you choose.

These bags would be great for stocking stuffers too!

While in my shop check out the new candles, I have cute 5 ounce candles and the timber wick soy candles. Both great gift ideas.

Candles always make great gifts for someone you know.

And if you`re looking for a special jewelry gift check out
Scorpion Moon Designs

I have provided a link;

I am busy as an elf can be making all kinds of goodies for the Holiday Season.

Have a good one!

Feeling Like Fall !

Depending on where you live, its starting to feel like Fall !
The foliage isn`t very attractive here in Eastern Connecticut. They say its because of too much rain. This past week it was also very windy so any leaves were blown off.

So here are some of the photos that I found to put you in the Fall state of mind.

I hope you enjoy the lovely photos of foliage from my internet search.

Its been a very busy day, I`ve listed some new jewelry pieces on Scorpion Moon Designs

And
At
 Au Naturelle
I have listed the Christmas Gift Bags

They are so perfect for gifts for office parties, childrens Christmas parties or stocking stuffers.
Three different Vintage Santa images to choose from in beautiful vivid color.

White Pumpkin Gourds - Apple Crisp - Hot Apple Cider

Happy Wednesday Every One!
Its apple picking time and I`ve got a couple of great recipes to share with you today.

The first one is for
Apple Crisp

EASY APPLE CRISP

1 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 peeled and sliced large apples
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter

Combine 1/2 c. sugar, lemon juice, water and cinnamon in bottom of small baking pan. Slice in apples. Blend remaining 1/2 c. sugar, flour, salt and butter until crumbly. Spread over apples and pat smooth.Bake at 375°F. for 40-50 minutes, until apples are tender and crust is browned. Serve hot with ice cream. This is a good recipe for apple crisp if you don't like the over-sugary oatmeal taste. It's basically a rectangular apple pie, but healthier (no lard)

Hot Apple Cider

3 parts apple juice
1 part water
cinnamon stick
lemon slices
3 whole cloves

Bring apple juice and water to a boil over high heat, add slices in a tea diffuser, (all except cinnamon stick and lemon slices)
Ground the cinnamon stick.
Turn down to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove infuser,
pour into mugs, garnish with lemon slices sprinkle with cinnamon and
 ENJOY!

ENJOY!

Happy Fall!

Here are some pictures to enjoy while sipping that hot cider.

Shop Of The Week

My shop of the week choice is Jezebel Charms. I love the unique and creative nature of the jewelry. It is inspired jewelry with a steampunk edge as is stated in the intro to the shop. All made in England, I`m sure you`ll find something that strikes your fancy in this wonderful shop. And don`t forget the holidays are upon us sooner then you think.

Please take the time to check out this Etsy shop!

Moving on to the end of the gardening season outdoors. In most areas the outdoor gardening season is drawing to a close. It will be time to pot up some of the herbs and prepare to bring them indoors. I have some work to do in that area since they are talking of a possible frost in the next few days.
Until next Spring...

I was looking for a recipe for exfoliating my dry skin and I found this wonderful coffee scrub using coffee grounds.

Morning Joe Coffee Scrub
Wake up your skin with this high octane scrub.

2 cups coursely ground coffee
1/2 cup raw sugar
2 tablespoons almond oil sweet
1/4 teaspoon  Vanilla Fragrance Oil

Directions
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl until oil is distributed evenly.

To use:  gently massage a small amount of scrub onto skin and rinse with warm water.

You simply have to try this scrub, you`ll love it!
Thats all for now!
